Istanbul Knowledge Circle is a formation that conducts collective scholarly activities. Among the main motives for undertaking the journey of knowledge together with a team are engaging in mutual academic discussions, abandoning erroneous views through consultation and debate, and gaining stability on the right path. Accordingly, it is an indispensable element of collective academic work for students of knowledge to engage in as intense an exchange of ideas as possible.

Although verbal discussions meet this need to a certain extent, they are not sufficient for conducting high-level inquiries and meticulous debates efficiently. Written discussions occupy a critical position in order for high-level meticulous debates to be maintained efficiently and for the reached conclusions to be permanent so that other students of knowledge can benefit from them. Furthermore, in order for collective academic reviews to turn into collective authorship in the long run, a common language, methodology, and background must be developed in a written format. To meet this need, the Istanbul Knowledge Circle Forum was established as a discussion platform. In this forum, various issues related to Islamic sciences, social sciences, and diverse philosophical disciplines are brought to the agenda and debated.

The platform, currently accessible only to Circle members, is planned to be opened to qualified students of knowledge in the future.
